Acting Chief Customer Operations Officer

Paul leads the Customer Operations function at MLC Life Insurance. He is responsible for the company’s operations teams, including contact centres, new business, retention and administration. Together, these teams engage directly with customers from policy inception through to servicing for their duration as valued clients.

Prior to joining MLC Life Insurance, Paul was GM Direct Consumer Banking at NAB for 7 years.

Paul commenced his career with Melbourne Water and Victorian WorkCover in accounting and finance functions before taking up senior credit leadership roles with MMI Insurance Group (acquired by Allianz). Paul has spent the past 20 years developing, leading and innovating large customer facing and operational teams, initially with BPO provider Aegis Services Australia (formerly UCMS) in many roles including COO, before moving to NAB as Head of Servicing in 2010.
