  • What policies can be viewed in the Customer Portal?

    The Customer Portal gives you access to:

    • MLC Insurance – policies beginning with 9
    • MLC Insurance (Super) – policies beginning with 9
    • MLC Protectionfirst, obtained since Feb 2002 – policies beginning with 8
    • MLC Personal Protection Portfolio – policies beginning with 1 or 3
    • MLC Life Cover Superannuation – policies beginning with 1 or 3
  • How do I log in for the first time?

    Three simple steps to logging in for the first time:

    1. Visit my.mlcinsurance.com.au
    2. Enter your Customer Number as your username
    3. Enter the code sent to your mobile or email, create a new password and you’re in!
  • Where can I find my Customer Number?
    Your Customer Number appears on your renewal notice and annual statement. You can also request it via the login page my.mlcinsurance.com.au by clicking 'Can't remember your customer number.'
  • Why do I have to use a new Customer Number to log in instead of my policy number?
    Your new Customer Number is different to your policy number as it helps us give you an aggregate view of all your insurance policies in one place.
  • What are the improved security measures of the new Customer Portal?

    Keeping your personal information safe is important to us. To improve security, we’re introducing a two-step verification process when first logging in to the Customer Portal by sending a one-time password to your registered mobile number.  

    We’re also increasing security measures by password protecting any sensitive underwriting and claims information sent via email. To view these emails, you’ll need to enter a password delivered via SMS to your registered mobile number. This password is issued to you within 15 minutes of the correspondence being sent.

    If you don’t receive the SMS, you’ll need to call the MLC Life Insurance Customer Contact Centre on 13 65 25.

  • What can I do in the Customer Portal?

    With the Customer Portal, you can:

    • Review your policy details  
    • Manage your beneficiaries
    • Generate a Certificate of Currency  
    • Download Income Protection Tax Statements
    • Keep your details up to date, including mobile, email and address
    • Update your payment details 
    • Pay your premiums using a credit card
    • View and download letters we’ve sent to you

  • Who do I call if I need help using the Customer Portal?
    You can call the MLC Life Insurance Customer Contact Centre on 13 65 25, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm, AEST, for help with the Customer Portal.
  • Do I need to continue using MLC Wealth's MemberOnline if I have access to the MLC Life Insurance Customer Portal?
    Yes, to continue accessing any MLC Wealth insurance, super and investment policies you may have.
