Chief Customer & Strategy Officer
Jane leads the Customer and Strategy function at MLC Life Insurance. She is responsible for enhancing the customer experience and embedding a customer culture, as well as enterprise strategy, brand and marketing, product pricing across individual and group portfolios, corporate affairs and corporate communications.
Jane is an experienced financial services executive with deep insurance industry knowledge and a focus on achieving customer-centric outcomes. Jane has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, in both advisory roles and in executive positions leading cultural change, strengthening governance practices and delivering strategic objectives.
Jane served as our Chief Risk Officer before becoming Chief Customer and Strategy Officer. Prior to joining MLC Life Insurance, Jane was the Chief Risk Officer for Zurich Australia, leading the risk function across Australia and New Zealand for the life insurance and general insurance business of the global insurer. Jane also held senior leadership roles for Allianz Australia and icare NSW. Jane's earlier career was spent as a lawyer in private practice specialising in financial services law, as well as in-house legal roles.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), as well as post graduate qualifications in Applied Finance from FINSIA.
