Koji Ichiba
Executive Director
Koji is the Executive Director for MLC Life Insurance.
Joining us in March 2024 from Nippon Life’s Tokyo office, Koji is one of our most senior international executives.
Since joining Nippon Life Insurance in 1993, Koji has held several roles across various locations, including Thailand, Singapore and India. Some of these roles include Executive Vice President for Reliance Nippon Life Insurance in India and Chief Executive Officer for Nippon Life Asia Pacific.
Most recently, Koji worked as the General Manager of the Global Insurance Business Department with Nippon. In this role, where he was responsible for financial performance, governance and risk management for all of Nippon Life’s global insurance businesses.
Koji has a Bachelor in Law from Doshisha University.
