Marina Kelman leaves MLC Life Insurance

Marina Kelman, Chief Financial Officer, has left MLC Life Insurance to move to the next phase of her career.

Marina joined the MLC Life Insurance leadership team as Chief Financial Officer after the company became a member of the Nippon Life Group of Companies in 2016.

Marina transformed MLC Life Insurance’s Finance, Strategy, Treasury and Audit functions and helped reset the strategy and priorities for these areas to facilitate the company becoming a stand-alone business. Amongst her many achievements was the development and implementation of a new investment management strategy and her role as executive sponsor of MLC Life Insurance’s new accounting and tax IT eco-system.

David Hackett, CEO, MLC Life Insurance, said, “Marina has been a key member of my founding leadership team. On behalf of the MLC Life Insurance team, I’d like to warmly thank Marina for her tremendous contribution to our business and wish her all the best in her new endeavour.”

Kos Dimitriou, Executive Lead Tax, MLC Life Insurance will lead the function until a permanent replacement is appointed.
